HYDROBLOCK

Hydroblock water block industrial gel is a soft grease like material designed to stop water migration into enclosed areas. Hydroblock works by trapping water at the molecular level which turns it from a liquid to a semi solid paste that is incapable of fluid movement. It is recommended that Hydroblock be trapped within the conduit or enclosure after installation and is compatible with other potting compounds, duct sealing compounds, and mechanical sealing methods to accomplish this during application. Hydroblock is easy to use and can be applied using caulking guns, pumping systems, or manual methods. Hydroblock will not harden which allows for the addition of pulling new wires or working with existing wires. Hydroblock can also act as a barrier to insects such as ants in pedestal applications.Typical applications include conduit runs, connection junctions, or switch boxes. Due to Hydroblocks wide range of versitility it is recommended that a test be done for the particular application.  

Available in 10oz, 30oz caulking tubes and 5 gal. pails.

Typical applications include conduit runs, motors, lights, sensors, and enclosures (top, side, and bottom entries). Recommendations for protecting moisture sensitive enclosure and instruments. All verical conduit runs should be filled for a distance of not less than 2 feet or to the first seal. All horizontal and descending conduit runs should be filled for a distance of one foot or to the first seal.
