Threadguard is a grease type product designed to prevent galling and corrosion of threads on nuts, bolts, and preassembled fastening parts which causes them to seize together. With its ionblock technology Threadguard prevents water from causing corrosion on threaded parts in a wide range of automotive and industrial applications. Threadguard also acts as a lubricating grease that aids in the assembly of threaded fasteners by binding to their surface. 

Applications include nuts, bolts, pipe connections, gear surfaces, ball joints, wheel bearings, and NEMA class A electric motors. Threadguard is an excellent automotive wheel bearing grease, meeting ASTM D 3428 ball joint test and NLG! and GCLB requirements for wheel bearing and chassis lubrication.
